We arrive on time with measuring tools and material samples. Most visits take 30–60 minutes.

Within 3–5 business days you'll receive a detailed, fixed-price proposal with drawings if applicable.
Booking Questions
Is the consultation really free?
Yes, for projects within 30 miles of Portland. For larger commercial work or projects beyond that radius, we may schedule a paid site visit that is credited back against your project if you proceed.
How soon can I get an appointment?
Most consultations are scheduled within 3–7 business days of your request. Urgent repairs can often be handled within 24–48 hours — mark your request as urgent and call us directly.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Absolutely. Just reply to your confirmation email or call us at (207) 450-1094. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice so we can offer the slot to another client.
Do I need to be home for the consultation?
For a property visit, yes — we need to walk the space with you. For phone or video consultations, no. If you can't be there in person, consider sending photos and dimensions in advance.
What if I don't know what service I need?
Choose "Not Sure Yet — Need Advice" and describe your situation. Our fabricators are used to helping clients figure out the right approach.
Do you charge a deposit?
No deposit is required for the consultation or estimate. A deposit is only requested once you approve a formal proposal and we begin scheduling fabrication.
Prefer to Call?
Our shop is open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM ET, and Saturday 9 AM to 2 PM. We're happy to answer questions over the phone.
